Facial Recognition Engine

Zugara now has our Facial Recognition Engine available for iOS, Android, PC webcam and Kinect. Our Facial Recognition Engine can detect facial expressions and can also map 2D or 3D Augmented Reality overlays over an individual’s face.

Facial Recognition Engine Features:

FACIAL FEATURE RECOGNITION

Our Engine can detect various facial expressions including:
• Smile
• Wink
• Kiss
• Open Mouth / Tongue
• Head Movement (Vertical and Horizontal)

AUGMENTED REALITY

Tracking can be utilized with our facial feature detection for Augmented Reality overlays:
• Static or dynamic object display
• 2D or 3D objects tracked in relation to facial movement
• 2D or 3D overlays mapped and tracked to head and/or facial features movement

iOS & ANDROID

Our Facial Recognition Engine was recently optimized for use with mobile devices. The Facial Recognition engine is available now for iOS devices including iPhone and iPad.

DID YOU KNOW?

Pepsi recently utilized our Facial Recognition Engine for a campaign using iOS devices. The project involved tracking different users’ facial expressions and overlaying a corresponding emoji graphic to the user’s face. Read more here.
