Virtuelle, a Zugara reseller, recently partnered with Nokia and The Creative Counsel to bring Zugara’s Kinect-based Virtual Dressing Room platform, WSS for Kiosks, to South African Malls.  Multiple kiosk units have been placed throughout various malls where shoppers can try on virtual retail apparel.

WSS for Kiosks was customized in a variety of ways:

• Virtuelle’s kiosk units were designed to look like the Nokia Asha phone
• WSS for Kiosks’ API was available for various data to be pulled and displayed on mobile devices
• WSS generated images were shown on additional displays throughout the mall to promote Nokia and retailers
• A mobile voting system allows shoppers to vote on their favorite user generated virtual outfits

Our WSS For Kiosks platform was designed for event and OOH use and optimized for use with Kinect.  This is yet another exciting example of how our platform can be customized for various settings and uses.  Virtuelle had previously debuted their WSS For Kiosks unit at South African Fashion Week and we’re proud to support our growing list of resellers throughout the world.
