NCMA Virtual Dressing Room

Virtual Dressing Room technology has many different use cases and applications. One of the more natural use cases for virtual dressing room tech is with museum exhibits.

The North Carolina Museum of Arts recently launched WSS for Kiosks on October 28th, for a 50 Years Of Ebony Fashion Fair exhibit. The exhibit covers 50 years of beauty, style, and empowerment with various outfits by Christian Dior, Givenchy and more. WSS for Kiosks is featured to make the exhibit interactive and encourage visitors to try on virtual representations of these various outfits.

The WSS for Kiosks setup at the museum features an automated version of WSS that starts when the exhibit visitors steps into the detection area. They are then prompted to use gestures to cycle through and try on different virtual garments.

WSS for Kiosks patented technology supports both 2D and 3D apparel items. Licensing of WSS for Kiosks software comes with free use of our Asset Preparation Tool and Web Admin Platform. Contact us if you’d like more information on WSS for Kiosks or have any virtual dressing room technology related questions.
