At the Retail Business Technology Expo in London today, Samsung UK and Ted Baker showcased Zugara’s new in-store Virtual Dressing Room Technology called Virtual Style Sense (VSS).  VSS was integrated with Ted Baker apparel in a special Fashion area of Samsung UK’s booth at the RBTE conference.  Our VSS software is currently optimized for use with current Samsung products including the ME85 Display, ME95 Display and Galaxy Tablet.  We had previously debuted VSS across the pond with Samsung US and Nordstrom at the NRF’s Big Show in New York in early January.

For retailers, VSS allows for online style analytics in an in-store retail environment.  Through the VSS tablet and display integration, retailers can now track product inventory as it’s interacted with in the dressing room.  The tablet device can also be utilized for for social sharing, point of sale checkout, analytics and more.  Shoppers can also save time in the dressing room by digitally changing the colors and styes of items they are trying on.  Multiple colors and garments can be altered digitally allowing shoppers to find their perfect style. You can find more info on the VSS product page on www.zugara.com.

RBTE runs through March 12th so if you are in the UK area and are planning to attend the conference on March 12th, stop by to say hello, grab some joe and see VSS firsthand.

[UPDATE] We embedded the new Virtual Style Sense video below that shows a demo of the technology at RBTE.  You can view additional information on our new Kinect-based Virtual Dressing Room solution for in-store retail here.
