University of San Diego Virtual Mirror Demo

Over the last few months, we’ve launched our WSS for Kiosks Virtual Dressing Room Technology with Museu do FutbolMajor League Baseball and Crayola. We’re now happy to announce our latest retail deployment with the University of San Diego!

WSS for Kiosks is being utilized in the the University of San Diego (USD) campus bookstore to help promote latest USD apparel. “Zugara did a great job implementing the Virtual Mirror for the Torero Store at the University of San Diego,” said Maji Drost, E-Commerce Manager of the USD Torero Store. “Our state-of-the-art store is focused on the customer experience, so this interactive kiosk is a perfect addition.”

Our WSS for Kiosks mobile admin software makes it easy to create different apparel collections for the shopper to cycle through and virtually try on. Virtual garment images can also be associated with different virtual background images to further promote seasonal collections or apparel. The shopper can then try on a virtual garment and see how it might look on them in a specific virtual environment like the beach. Retail sales associates can also work more closely and efficiently with shoppers in viewing promoted collections or garments.

Virtual Dressing Rooms are the highest rated Augmented Reality use case for retail conversions and we’ve recently seen a shift in how retailers and marketers deploy Virtual Dressing Room technology. Outside of a retail environment, the Virtual Dressing Room can act as an interactive tool to promote a product and/or brand and help drive a shopper to an in-store retail environment. Within an in-store retail environment, the Virtual Dressing Room can also act as a fun and interactive engagement for the shopper.
